Terms of Service

By accessing or using MLB Edge ("the Service," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and MLB Edge.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.

MLB Edge is a statistical analysis and sports analytics platform provided strictly for entertainment and informational purposes. It is NOT a sports betting advisory service, gambling service, or financial advisory service.

All projections, picks, recommendations, model outputs, expected value calculations, win probability estimates, and any other content generated by or displayed on MLB Edge are:

• Based on historical data and statistical models that cannot predict the future
• Subject to significant uncertainty and inherent unpredictability of sporting events
• Not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or profitable
• Not financial advice, investment advice, or gambling advice
• Provided "as is" without warranty of any kind

We make no representations or warranties that using our Service will result in profits, winning bets, or positive financial outcomes. Past model performance does not guarantee future results. Any win rates, ROI figures, or performance statistics displayed on the platform represent historical backtesting or live tracking results and are not predictive of future performance.

You must be at least 21 years of age to use MLB Edge. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are 21 years of age or older.

Sports betting laws vary by jurisdiction. It is your sole responsibility to determine whether sports betting is legal in your jurisdiction before placing any wagers. MLB Edge does not facilitate, process, or accept sports bets. We provide data and analytics only. You are solely responsible for ensuring your activities comply with all applicable local, state, federal, and international laws.

MLB Edge is not available to residents of jurisdictions where sports betting analytics services are prohibited by law. By using the Service, you represent that your use is lawful in your jurisdiction.

Sports betting involves substantial financial risk. You acknowledge and agree that:

• You may lose all money you wager based on any information from MLB Edge
• You will only bet with money you can afford to lose entirely
• MLB Edge is not responsible for any financial losses you incur
• No content on MLB Edge should be construed as a guarantee of any outcome
• You make all betting decisions independently and at your own risk

MLB Edge offers paid subscription tiers (Pro and Premium) billed on a monthly basis. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

Refund Policy: Due to the digital nature of our service and immediate access to content, all subscription payments are generally non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at [email protected] within 7 days of the charge. We reserve the right to issue refunds at our sole discretion.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Settings page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until the end of your paid period.

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.

MLB Edge operates an optional referral program (the “Program”) where registered users (“Referrers”) may earn commissions by referring new paying subscribers. Participation in the Program is voluntary and subject to all terms below. By participating in the Program, you agree to these terms in their entirety.

6.1 Commission Structure

Referrers earn sixty-five percent (65%) of the net subscription payment received by MLB Edge from each referred subscriber, for each billing period in which the referred subscriber’s payment is successfully collected and not reversed. The remaining thirty-five percent (35%) is retained by MLB Edge as a service fee. Commission amounts are calculated on net revenue after Stripe processing fees, refunds, and chargebacks. MLB Edge reserves the right to adjust the commission rate at any time upon thirty (30) days’ written notice to active Referrers. The new rate will apply only to payments collected after the effective date of the change.

6.2 Program Cancellation and Modification

MLB Edge reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to modify, suspend, or permanently terminate the Referral Program at any time, with or without cause, and with or without advance notice. In the event of termination, MLB Edge will make commercially reasonable efforts to provide thirty (30) days’ prior notice via email to registered Referrers. Upon termination of the Program: (a) no new commissions will accrue after the termination date; (b) commissions already earned and approved prior to the termination date will be honored subject to the payout conditions in Section 6.4; (c) commissions in “pending” status at the time of termination may be forfeited at MLB Edge’s discretion if the underlying subscription is cancelled, refunded, or disputed. MLB Edge shall have no liability to any Referrer for any loss of anticipated future earnings resulting from Program termination or modification.

6.3 Payout Suspension

MLB Edge reserves the right to suspend, delay, withhold, or permanently cancel any payout at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to: (a) suspected fraud, abuse, or manipulation of the referral system; (b) chargebacks, disputes, or refunds on the underlying subscription payments; (c) violation of these Terms; (d) failure to provide required tax documentation; (e) legal hold, regulatory requirement, or court order; (f) business insolvency or cessation of operations; (g) technical errors or payment processing failures; or (h) any other reason MLB Edge deems appropriate in its sole discretion. Suspended payouts may be held for up to one hundred eighty (180) days pending investigation. MLB Edge is not liable for any financial loss resulting from a payout suspension.

6.4 Payout Conditions and Minimums

Commissions are paid manually upon Referrer request. The following conditions apply: (a) minimum payout threshold is twenty-five dollars ($25.00) USD; requests below this amount will not be processed; (b) payouts are processed within five (5) to fifteen (15) business days of approval, subject to Section 6.3; (c) MLB Edge may require identity verification and/or tax documentation (e.g., IRS Form W-9 for U.S. persons, W-8BEN for non-U.S. persons) before processing any payout; (d) payout is made via the method specified by the Referrer (PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, bank transfer, or other mutually agreed method); (e) MLB Edge is not responsible for delays or failures caused by third-party payment processors; (f) MLB Edge reserves the right to deduct from any payout any amounts owed by the Referrer to MLB Edge.

6.5 Commission Clawback

MLB Edge reserves the right to claw back, reverse, or offset previously paid commissions in the following circumstances: (a) the underlying subscription payment is reversed, refunded, or charged back by the subscriber or their financial institution; (b) the commission was paid in error due to a technical malfunction, calculation error, or data corruption; (c) the referral is subsequently determined to have been fraudulent or in violation of these Terms; (d) the referred subscriber cancels within any applicable refund window. Clawback amounts will first be offset against future commissions owed; if insufficient future commissions exist, MLB Edge may invoice the Referrer for the clawback amount, which becomes immediately due and payable.

6.6 Prohibited Conduct and Fraud

The following conduct is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination, forfeiture of all accrued commissions (paid and unpaid), and potential legal action: (a) self-referral or referring accounts under your control; (b) creating multiple accounts to generate referral commissions; (c) paying or incentivizing others to sign up through your referral link; (d) making false or misleading representations about MLB Edge in your promotional activities; (e) using spam, unsolicited messages, or deceptive advertising; (f) generating fake clicks, signups, or subscription payments through bots or automated means; (g) any other conduct that MLB Edge determines, in its sole discretion, to be abusive or contrary to the spirit of the Program.

6.7 No Guarantee of Earnings

Participation in the Referral Program does not guarantee any income or earnings. Commission amounts depend entirely on the number of successful referrals and the continued subscription of referred users. MLB Edge makes no representations, warranties, or guarantees regarding the amount of commissions a Referrer may earn. Any earnings examples shown on the website are illustrative only and do not represent typical or guaranteed results.

6.8 Tax Responsibility

Referrers are solely responsible for reporting, withholding, and paying all applicable federal, state, local, and foreign taxes on referral income. MLB Edge may be required to report payments to tax authorities and may issue IRS Form 1099-NEC (or equivalent) for payments exceeding applicable reporting thresholds. Referrers must provide accurate tax information upon request. Failure to provide required tax documentation may result in mandatory withholding or suspension of payouts.

6.9 Relationship of Parties

Referrers are independent contractors, not employees, agents, partners, or joint venturers of MLB Edge. Referrers have no authority to bind MLB Edge in any contract or obligation. MLB Edge is not responsible for any representations made by Referrers to third parties.

6.10 Dispute Resolution for Referral Commissions

Any dispute regarding referral commissions must be submitted in writing to [email protected] within sixty (60) days of the disputed event. Failure to submit a timely dispute waives all claims related to that event. MLB Edge’s determination of commission calculations shall be final and binding absent manifest error. All disputes are subject to the arbitration and governing law provisions in Sections 11 and 12 of these Terms.

You agree not to use MLB Edge to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit our content without written permission
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service
• Attempt to reverse-engineer our proprietary models or algorithms
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use the Service if you have a gambling addiction or problem gambling history
• Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the Service

All content on MLB Edge, including but not limited to the projection models, algorithms, data visualizations, written content, design, and software, is the exclusive property of MLB Edge and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. This license does not include the right to copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information provided through the Service.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MLB EDGE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, OR FINANCIAL LOSSES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR ANY BETS PLACED BASED ON INFORMATION FROM THE SERVICE.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MLB Edge and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
